Funeral services for Eve Orene Williams, 74 of Winnsboro were held Friday
in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with the Rev. O. O.
Ervin of Wimberly, Texas officiating.
Interment followed in Coax Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn
Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Williams was a devoted pastor's wife, mother and grandmother.  She
was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Delhi, Louisiana. She went home to be with
her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 13, 1999.
Survivors include her husband of many years, Reverend Carl Francis
Williams, Sr. of Winnsboro, La.; five daughters, Gloria Mullins of 
Baton Rouge, La.; Linda Hammond of Bastrop, La.; Judy LaBorde, Orene Sharp 
and Dottie Carraway all of Winnsboro; one son, Carl Francis Williams II 
of Winnsboro; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one
great-great grandchild;  sister, Shirley Stewart of Winnsboro;  
two brothers, Odis "Buddy" Adcock and Curtis Adcock both of Winnsboro; 
a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Charles Burns and grandsons, Ronnie Pope, Kenneth Pope,
Brent Hammack, Steven Carraway II, Jonathan Sharp, Carl F. "Trey" Williams
III.
