H. Willis Passed Away Last Thursday W. H. Willis, 86, one of the oldest citizens of Franklin Parish passed away on Thursday, July 28th at 7:00 P. M. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. H. Scriber at Fort Necessity. Mr. Willis was born on October 27, 1852 in Caldwell Parish. In 1876, he was married to Miss Louise A. May. Moving to this parish in 1905, he made his home most of the time with his daughter Mrs. Scriber. He leaves three children, Mrs. W. H. Scriber, of Ft. Necessity; Mrs. L. E. Nugent of Winnsboro; and W. B. Willis of Liddieville; and 18 grandchildren. Mr. Willis was a member of the Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge. Funeral services were held Friday at 11 a.m. and interment was made in the Ogden Cemetery.
