Elizabeth Ann "Lizzie" Myers Pittman in her garden in Caldwell Parish, LA. Photo
dated after 1888.

Additional Comments:
Elizabeth Ann "Lizzie" Myers Pittman was born 31 Mar 1866 in Nova Scotia,
Canada. The 1871 Canadian Census put her at 5 years of age, living in Jeddore,
Halifax, Canada. The reasons and details of her migration to LA are unknown but
she was married to Marion Monroe "Percy" Pittman (1853-1920) on 19 Apr 1888 in
Caldwell Parish, LA. The Pittmans children:
Clarence Miller Pittman
Mary Orell Pittman Lanier
Alexander Curtis Pittman
Ellua Pittman
Alton Pittman
Ethel Oleta Pittman King

The 1920 Census places the Pittmans in Franklin Parish, where Mr. Pittman died
later in the year (4 Aug 1920). Mrs. Pittman died in Winnsboro, Franklin, LA on
14 Nov 1959.
