Parish of Franklin           }           Clerk's Office



                   To T. J. Lacy a Minister of the Gospel or to any

Justice of the Peace for the Parish of Franklin or any legally 

authorized Minister of the Gospel for said Parish and State.

Greetings:

                   You are hereby authorized and empowered to

celebrate a marriage between Philip C. Kenton and Mrs. Elizabeth O.

Beard of this Parish and in your doings in the premises you will make

return to this office according to law.

                   Witness my signature and the seal of said Court 

this 10th day of March AD 1860.

Parish of Franklin           }    Be it remembered that in pursuance

and by authority of a license from the office of the Clerk of the 

eleventh District Court for said Parish and State I T. J. Lacy a

Minister of the Gospel in and for said Parish and State proceeded at

the Court house of the said Parish to celebrate a marriage between

Philip C. Kenton and Mrs. Eliz'h O. Beard of said Parish present and

consenting to said Marriage.

              In witness whereof I have caused the said parties to 

sign this act in presence of AW Moore DD Swindall LB Brock witnesses

above the age of twenty one years and residing in said Parish who

were present at said marriage and who sign this Act with the parties

and me the said T J Lacy on this eleventh day of March AD Eighteen

hundred and sixty.
