Trahern as principal and Fielding Guice security of said Parish and State are held and firmly bound unto Isaac Johnson Governor of the State of Louisiana or his successors in office in the just and fulol sum of Two hundred & fifty Dollars for the full and punctual payment of which sum we hereby bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators firmly by these presents this day of July 24th AD 1848. The condition of the above obligation is such that if there exist no legal impediment to the celebration of a Marriage between the above bounden Samuel C. Trahern as aforesaid and Zilpha Ann Guice then the above obligation to be null and void, otherwise the bond remain in full force and effect.
