My grandfather Elijah R. Valentine was licensed to preach in Grant Parish, LA
on July 6, 1889. I have the small bible  which he used when he preached.

In the front of that bible are the following records.

Elijah  R. Valentine born March 8, 1867

James Ellis Valentine born March 7, 1892

John Willis Valentine born September 20, 1893
