Directions Located s of Packton off US 167. Turn right W on FS rd 613
and take the first road to the right FS rd 613a. Follow this road around
to the left and it ends at the cemetery. Do not turn on the Lynn Melton Road.

The Tyson Cemetery is located in the SE/4 of NE/4, Sec 6,T9N,R2W Grant
Parish. Location is 374' West and 620' North of the SE corner of SE-NE.
Information from survey plat. Prior to 1868, it was located in Winn Parish.

Others are possibly buried here in unmarked sites: Am unable to verify now,
but some of these were noted by BE Melton. Other than a small plot with
a few unmarked gravesites located on the George W. Moore tract in Sec 6,
no other old burial sites in this area are known.

Allbright(s): John, Rozanah, John W., William S., Elnora and Benjamin 

Tyson(s):  Tyson family Bible and referenced deposition lists these as 
buried here, also slaves of James E Tyson. Large crepe myrtle trees that were
set out in rows as head markers denote other burial locations.
