COLFAX HIGH SCHOOL HONOR ROLL

The following is the report of the Colfax high school, for the month ending
March 6:

On Roll: Elementary--Boys 96, girls 93, total elementary 189, High school--

Boys 15, girls 25, total 40.

Average daily attendance--Elementary--Boys 69, girls 88, total 157.  High

school--boys 14.5, girls 24.5, total 39.

Total enrollment for school, 218.  Daily attendance, 189.

The above shows a low average attendance for the elementary grades, due to an
epidemic of measles, while the high school department shows an almost perfect
attendance.

Those making the highest general average, in each of the grades, for the month
are:

First year--(1) Walter Lurry, (2) Wilbur O'Quinn

Second year--(1) Boothey O'Quinn, (2) Mattie Chapman

Third year--Miss Breda, (1) Philip Youngblood, (2) Aline Edwin.  Miss Tuazin,

(1) Martina O'Quinn, (2) Leslie McKnight.

Fourth grade--(1) LaVille Foden, (2) Aleen Wilson.

Fifth year--A (1) Ellen Berry (2) Vida Lurry.  B (1) Rande Ethridge, (2) Orin

McCan.

Sixth year--(1) Tom Linder, (2)Robert Woolfolk.

Seventh year--)Robert Best, (2) Mira Scott.

Eight year--(1) Irene Ethridge, (2) Lily Belle Goodwyn.

Ninth year--(1) Iva Swafford, (2) Leita Dyson.

Tenth year--(1) Grace Goodwyn, (2) Dewey McKnight.

Eleventh year--(1) Euphrasa Lenoard, (2) Leola Cargill.
