COLFAX BOYS WINN STATE B FLAG FOR SECOND YEAR

A lot of people who watched Colfax in the Winnfield tournament here said that
Reed Perriloux's crew merited the state championship in Class B they were to
defend in March.

Last Saturday, Perilloux put his 12 Tigers into fracas in Shreveport and
walked off handily 60-45 with his second state flag.

The win gave Colfax a 46-5 record and the losers 26-5.  

It also was a fine performance for Colfax's seniors, five of them, who played
their last game.  

The scoring:  Colfax-Buddy Tuminello 14, Charles Fletcher 11, James Smith 9,
Billy Futrell 18, Vollm 6, Dean 2.

Lemoine, Sparrow, Matney, Parsons, Walker, and Churchman saw action in the
scrap.
