HAZEL SANDERS ADAMS The Baton Rouge Sunday Advocate February 17, 1991 Died 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 1991, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 66, a native of Colfax and a resident of Baton Rouge. She was a retired office manager for Beno Truck Equipment Company and a former employee of Patterson Redmond Equipment Company. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Brad Curry. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by husband, Elson "E.J." Adams, Baton Rouge; mother-in-law, Ethel P. Adams, Ponchatoula; eight first cousins, Opal Watson, Mabel Williams, Jewel Pritchard, Lillie Mae Tranchina, Ruby Dyson, Dorothy Lee Houston, Effie Lawson, and Carlos B. Guttry; four sisters-in-law, Rowena Mitchell, Peggy Howes, Annette Annison, and Helen Muller; and six brothers-in-law, Hulen O., Vincent P., Darrell J., Vesta J., Kelly J., and Ted L. Adams. Preceded in death by parents, James N. and Lillie McMills Sanders. Pallbearers will be Vincent P. Adams, Dwight Annison, Louis Barcelona, Wallace P. LeBlanc, Roy Walton, Harry Cappo. She was a member and past president of VFW Zachary Taylor Post No. 3784 Auxillary, the Progressive Men's Club Auxillary, The Navy Club USS Kidd Ship No. 661 Auxillary, the Merry Whirlers Club, and the Women's Auxillary MOC Pup Tent No. 14. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the VFW Zachary Taylor Post No. 3784, the Navy Club USS Kidd 661, the Progressive Men's Club, the MOC Pup Tent No. 14 and the Merry Whirlers Club.
