Last Rites Held At Verda For Mrs. Margaret Antee

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Lovett Antee, 19, of Verda were held at the
Verda Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Friday, October 22, with the Rev. Frank L.
Israel of Colfax officiating.  Burial was in the Verda Cemetery under
direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.  

Mrs. Antee passed away Thursday, October 21, at an Alexandria hospital after
an illness of about one year.  She was born and reared in Verda and attended
the Verda schools.

Surviving are her husband, James H. Antee of Verda; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
D. C. Lovett of Verda; one brother, David O. Lovett of Verda; and three
sisters, Marie, Mary Alice, and Nelwyn, all of Verda.

Pallbearers were Wilber L. Tyson, Albert Parker, Wade Evans, H. E. Willis, Ivy
Drewett, and Clyde Lingenfelter.
