Baillio will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Hixon Bros. Pineville, with the Revs. Charles Hutzler and Leonard Free officiating. Burial will be in he Springhill Cemetery, Ball. Baillio, 87, of Dry Prong died Monday, March 23, 1998, in Rapides Regional Medical Center. He was a member and deacon of alpine Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired as a civil service employee from the Army Reserve Training Center in Alexandria. He was the first juvenile probation officer for Grant Parish and a 50-year member of the Curtis T. Hines Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Gray Baillio of Dry Prong; one son, Stephen Baillio of coral Springs, Fla.; two daughters, Evelyn Lucero of Dallas, Texas, and Mary Lou Pierce of Niceville, Fla.; one brother Alford Baillio of Weatherford, Texas; one sister, Aloha Norris of Athens, Ga.; nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robbie Pierce, Sean Pierce, Brent Baillio, Duane Baillio, John Grace, Tony Lucero and Nick Evans.
