Mrs. Anna Boyett Dead

Mrs. Anna Boyett, 64 years old, died at the family residence, 1767 Marye
Street, Alexandria, La., at 2:10 a.m., on Wednesday, July 1, 1925.  Prior to
her marriage to V. R. Boyett, of Winn Parish, now deceased, Mrs. Boyett was
Miss Anna Teddlie, also of Winn Parish.  To this union seven children were
born, all of whom are living.  They are:
J. D. Boyett, Grady Boyett, Misses Viola Boyett and Myrtle Boyett, of
Alexandria, La.;  Mrs. Nettie Evans of Haynesville, La.; Mrs. L. J. Arrington,
of Jackson, Miss.; and V. Roy Boyett of Pineville.  She also leaves the
following brothers and sisters:  Ben Teddlie of Pineville, R. L. Teddlie of
Buffalo, Tex., Mrs. Emma Deen of Montgomery, La., and Mrs. Eleanor O'Neal of
Lufkin, Texas.

Funeral services were conducted at the family residence in Alexandria at 1
o'clock Wednesday afternoon, after which the body was conveyed to Verda, Grant
Parish, and interred by the side of her husband.  Rev. Carl A. DeVane, pastor
of Emanuel Baptist Church of which Mrs. Boyett was a devout member,
officiated.
