George L. Bruce

POLLOCK -- Graveside services for George Lincoln Bruce will be in Big Creek
Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction of Hixson Bros., Alexandria.

Bruce, 70, of Collins, Miss., former resident of Alexandria, died Friday,
July 16, 1999, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Jackson, Miss.

He was an oil field driller and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and
Vietnam War. Survivors include one son, Ricky Harris of Delhi; three
daughters, Donna Jones of Seminary, Miss., Michelle Kelly of Laurel, Miss.,
and Helen Fletcher of Atlanta; one brother, Leo Bruce of Alexandria; one
sister, Elsie Humbles of Pineville; and 12 grandchildren.
