James C. Calk, Sr.

Services for James C. Calk, Sr. were at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson
Bros. With the Rev. Rick Feazell officiating.  Burial was in the Jena
Cemetery.

Calk, 84 of Jena died Saturday Sept 26, 1998, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital,
Lafayette.

He was an electrical contractor.

Survivors include two daughters, Glenda G. Hebert of Scott and Sonya Alexander
of Longview, Texas; one son, James C. Calk, Jr. of Jena; one brother, Cebron
B. Calk of Dry Prong; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren
