W. A. Capps, 71, Dies; Rites Held At Zion Church

William Arthur Capps, 71, of Georgetown, died Saturday morning, May 8,
1971.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Zion Baptist Church.
Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Survivors include his widow of Georgetown; a son, Dewey Capps of
California; a daughter, Mrs. J. C. Madere, Jr., of Dry Prong; three
brothers, Aaron Capps of Georgetown, Orran Capps and Jody Capps, both of
Tullos; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Carnahan of Georgetown and Mrs. Ethel
Peebles of Minneapolis, Minn., and four grandchildren.
