Mrs. Chandler, 70, Montgomery, Dies In Dallas, Texas

Mrs. J. G. Chandler, 70, of Montgomery, La., died April 27 at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Inez Arthur, Dallas, Texas, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 29, at Mars Hill Baptist Church, with
the Rev. M. B. Atkins officiating.  Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. R. B. Lang, Montgomery, and Mrs. J. W.
Austin of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Herde Chandler and J. G. Chandler, Jr.,
both of Montgomery; one sister, Mrs. W. E. Little, Minden; two brothers, Jack
Bice, Calvin, and Adolphus Bice, Ruston, and eight grandchildren.
