Herman D. Chaney, age 69, a native of Beaver in Evangeline Parish, died 13 May
1997 in an Alexandria hospital.  The youngest son of Charlie and Delia Chaney,
he is survived by his brother, Alvis and sisters, Goldie and Verna. He was
buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grant Parish.
