THURSDAY , APRIL 12, 1979
Mary Preuett Christy, 84, of Colfax died at 2 a.m. today in Rapides
General Hospital. She was a native of Grant parish, survivors include
her husband, W. Mack Christy of Colfax; two daughters, Annie Bell
Hodnett of Colfax and Birdie Lee Honeycutt of Dry Prong; three sisters
Amanda Richards and Willie Bell Frost, both of Colfax, and Georgia
Vinson of Alexandria,eight granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.

Services for Mary Preuett Christy were at 2 p.m Friday in the chapel
of Hixson Bros., Pineville with the Rev. Charles Floyd officiating.
Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial park Pineville. Pallbears were James
hernandez , Obie Lavespere, Mike Creed, Mike Humphries, David Dees and 
Jacob "Jack" Frost.
