Cormane, 81, of Montgomery were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 in Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilmer Jordan officiating. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery. She died at 4:05 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16 in Winnfield General Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Verda and a member of Northside Baptist Church, Montgomery. Pallbearers were Bobby Wayne Stroud, Don Cormane, Butch Gaye, Douglas Stroud, Paul E. Cormane and Mickey Cormane. Survivors include four sons, George Cormane of Natchitoches, Paul Cormane of Bossier City, J.B. Cormane of Fort Worth and W.C. Cormane of Montgomery; seven daughters Mrs. Maudie Stroud of Montgomery, Mrs. Stella Garza of Natchitoches, Mrs. Gertrude Reedy of Winnfield, Mrs. Gertie Perry of Denver, Mrs. Lorene Wilson of Fort Worth, Mrs. Bertie Brown of Doyline and Mrs. Sarah Jane Foy of Keithville, 43 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
