Mrs. Leanna Cox, 91, Buried At Mt. Zion Sunday, December 14


Funeral services were held Sunday, December 14, for Mrs. Leanna Cox, 91 year
old resident of Montgomery, Rt. 1.  Mrs. Cox died at her home Friday.

Mrs. Cox was born July 24, 1867 in Grant (Winn) Parish.  She is survived by
two sons, Henry Cox and Reuben Cox (Plunkett); two daughters, Mrs. Anna
Morrell and Mrs. Jack Lambert; and one sister, Mrs. E. W. Rogers, all of
Montgomery.

Services were at the residence at 3 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Mrs. Lula
Wardlow and Rev. Luther Richardson in charge.  Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.

Pallbearers were Travis Curlee, Doug Curlee, James Morrell, Jesse Morrell,
Bobby Lambert, and John Lambert.
