Last Rites Tuesday For Mrs. Davis At Mt. Zion Church

Last rites for Mrs. Nellie Jean White Davis, 78, of Montgomery, were conducted
at the Mt. Zion Church at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, with the Rev. J. T.
Garrett of Chatham officiating, assisted by Rev. J. H. Crews of Enterprise,
La.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery under direction of Hixon Brothers Funeral
Home.

Mrs. Davis, a life long resident of near Montgomery, died Sunday 21, in
Enterprise, La.  

Surviving are two sons, B. A. Davis and J. A. Davis, both of Chestnut; three
daughters, Mrs. E. R. Curry of Pine Bluff; and Mrs. Minnie Lewis and Mrs. Mary
Shelton, both of Montgomery; and four sisters, Mrs. Fannie Shaw of Montgomery,
Mrs. Dollie Harris of Urania, Mrs. Alice Albright of Jonesboro, and Mrs. A. L.
McManus of Verda.

Grandsons of Mrs. Davis served as pallbearers.
