Who fell into a hay-baling machine and was killed Thursday morning at about 10, o'clock. The accident occurred at the Mayo Borne farm, near Pollock, Mr. Boren, who was directing haymaking operations at the time stated that he saw the boy jump on the machine, lose his balance and fall over into the press. He could not stop the machine in time. He ran to nearby Lewis and Maxwell's sawmill to phone for the Sheriff and an ambulance. The boy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Eskew, who live near the Borens. "Frankie," as he was known, would have been 10 years old on Aug. 27, and in the fifth grade when school starts. The last rites were conducted by the Rev. W. R.Murrell at the United Pentecostal church at Bentley at p.m., followed by interment in the Pollock cemetery. Pallbearers were Forest Nelson, James Walter Jones, Kenneth McBride and Vernon Roberts. He is also survived by one sister, Sandra DeLong; one half-sister, Mrs. Kenneth McBride; a half brother, Charles Sharbono; a step-sister, Jeanette Eskew; a nephew Leonard Wayne McBride and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Roberts of Pollock.
