Funeral Services For Mrs. Edwards Thurs. Afternoon

Succumbs Wednesday Night At The Home of Her Daughter, Mrs. J. E. Byrnes


Funeral services for Mrs. J. M. Edwards, 75 years old, were held at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Byrnes, Thursday afternoon, after which the
remains were conveyed to Pollock for burial.  A large concourse of friends
from Winnfield attended the burial.

Mrs. Edwards, after a continued illness at her home in Good Pine, La., came to
live with her daughter, Mrs. Byrnes, in Winnfield several months ago.  Her
husband, J. M. Edwards, also made his home with his daughter.  Mrs. Edwards
succumbed Wednesday night after a long illness.

The deceased is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. E. J. Byrnes
of Winnfield and Mrs. McKeithen of Selma.
