DIED. - FERRIER - At the home of Joseph Ferrier, her father-in-law, in ward 
six, Grant parish, La., at 9:15 a. m. Dec. 22, 1902, Mrs. Rose Ferrier, wife 
of Felix Ferrier, departed this life, aged about 22 years.

The deceased was the daughter of Mr. Thomas Kite. Her remains were buried at 
Bethel church Dec. 23d. - She was religious, and died satisfied in the 
Savior's atonement. Her great regret was at leaving her little baby boy only 
two months old. She had many friends who feel sad to lose her, and who 
particularly sympathize with the family in their grief and sorrow at the 
time when almost every heart is happy and joyful. May the Good Shepherd who 
tempers every wind so that even the lambs may find shelter, shield and care 
for the little babe left motherless behind.
