F. Foster, 64, of Georgetown died Thursday night, March 29, 1974 in Hardtner Medical Center at Urania, La. He was an employee of the La. Dept. of Highways. He is descended from one of the pioneer families of Northwest La. His parents were the late W. P. and Livoinia Hasha Foster. He was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church, Georgetown Masonic Lodge No. 298 F. & A. M. , Monroe Consistory, Monroe, La., and Worthy Patron of Evening Star Chapter No. 71, Georgetown, La. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Parker Foster, Georgetown; one son, W. P. "Bill" Foster, Georgetown, one daughter, Jerry Ann Beckham, Cottonport, La., three grandchildren, Carla, Caren, and Wayne Beckham, all of Cottonport, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Eloise Pollard, Georgetown, Mrs. Maynor Worden, Denver, Colorado, and Mrs. Rena Vancleave, Winnfield. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 1974, in Georgetown Baptist Church with Rev. William O. Busby, Jr. and Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating. Pallbearers were Vernon Butler, Clarence Simmons, Claude Brazzell, Phillip Sporter, Jr., O'Neal Kees, and Frank Dickerson. Honorary pallbearers were members of Georgetown Masonic Lodge No. 298 F. & A. M. Interment was in Georgetown Cemetery with graveside services conducted by Georgetown Masonic Lodge No. 298 F. & A. M., Eugene F. Love of Winnfield, acting Master.
