Foster of Pollock died in the Huey P. Long hospital, Pineville, Saturday, August 9, at 11:30 a.m. following a heart attack. Mr. Foster was 54 years of age; he was born Jan 4, 1989. He was a member of the Hebron Baptist church. Funeral services were held at Big Creek Baptist church Sunday, August 10, at 2:00p.m. The Rev. R. W. Coody, Jena, officiated, assisted by the Rev M. Roberta, Pollock. Interment was in the Big Creek cemetery. Survivors are his wife, Mary Coleman Forster; two daughters, Marie Nugent and Garnell Peoples; six grandchildren, Janice, Robert, Patricia and Leroy Nugent, jr. Mary Alice Lanham and Wendell Peoples; six sisters, Mrs. Beside Smith and Mangle Collier, Urine; Mrs. MITI Belle Keith, Colfax; Mrs. Lena Bohannon, Springhill; and Mrs. Blanche Lensey, Natches, Miss; three brothers, Marshall and L. G. Foster, Pollock and Travis Foster, Georgetown. Pallbearers were L.J. Ates, Tom Whatley, F.E. Arnold, Bill Terrell, R.H. Colemand and Elmer Lasyone.
