Mrs. Permelia I. Fowler, 85, Of Montgomery, Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Permelia I. Fowler, 85, of Route One, Montgomery,
were held today at 3 p.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery near Wheeling.  Mrs. Fowler
was a lifelong resident of the community in which she was reared.

She passed away yesterday at the home of her son near Montgomery after an
illness of several weeks.

Final rites were conducted by Rev. T. A. Brown of the Methodist Church, Mt.
Zion.  Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, was in charge of the arrangements.

Surviving are two sons, Sam and Frank, of Rt. 1, Montgomery; one daughter,
Mrs. Lela Tilton, Atlanta; one stepson, T. W. Fowler, Route 1, Montgomery; 11
grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
