Services for A. D. Futrell, Sr. 66, will be today at 3pm in Bethel Baptist
Church in Colfax  with Rev. Lloyd Whitman and Dr.Lowell Reichardt officiating. 
Burial will be in Bethel cemetery in Bethel Cemetery, Colfax, under the
direction of Hixon Bros. Funeral Home in Pineville.
Mr.Futrell died Saturday August 9, 1980 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in
Alexandrdia after an extended illness.

He was retired from Pinecrest State School in Pineville.

Survivors include his wife, Vaudien Dunn Futrell, Pollock, a son, A. D.
Futrell, Jr. of Pollock, one daughter, Mrs. L. C. (Gloria) Bingham of Monroe,
three sisters, Mrs. Ruth McBride, Tioga,  Joy Futrell of Pineville and Mrs.
Iva Hale of Pioneer; seven grandchildren, Pamela Bingham Lancaster,  Carla
Denise Bingham, Valerie Diane Bingham, Karen Denise Futrell, Michael Scott
Futrell, John Futrell, William Futrell and 2 great grandchildren, Emery
Kathryn Lancaster and Brent Preston Lancaster.
He was preceeded in death by one son, Sterling ( Sonny) Futrell and one
brother, Sam Futrell.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

Mr.Futrell was the son of the late Thomas and Ida Smith Futrell of Colfax, LA.
