DRY PRONG -- Services for Guy Futrell will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First
Baptist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Whitman officiating. Burial will be in Dry
Prong Cemetery under direction of Rush, Pineville.

Futrell, 87, of Dry Prong died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, in Rapides Regional
Medical Center.

He was a native of Dry Prong, a member of Dry Prong Baptist Church and post
Grand Master of Anchor Lodge No. 261 F&AM. He was a retired shop
superintendent of DOTD and was also town clerk of Dry Prong for several years. 
Survivors include one son, L.G. Futrell of Dry Prong; three grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-10 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 9 a.m.
until time of services Friday in the church.
