QUINCY A. HARGIS, JR

COLFAX -- Services for Quincy A. Hargis Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in
Colfax United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Reid officiating. Burial will
be in Colfax Cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros., Alexandria.

Hargis, 85, of Colfax died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, in Rapides General Hospital. 
He was a native of Colfax and a member of Colfax United Methodist Church. He
was former president of Colfax Banking Co. and board member of Colfax Masonic
Lodge, Lions Club and Shriner. He was a farmer and cattleman, and he also
served as president of the Louisiana Pecan Festival.
Survivors include one son, Q.A. Hargis III of Colfax; one daughter, Nancy
LaFleur of Colfax; two brothers, Dr. Gifford Hargis of Alexandria and Richard
C. Hargis of Colfax; one sister, Mary Nell Moresi of Opelousas; five
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-10 p.m. today in the funeral home. and from noon until
time of services Tuesday in the church.
