AUBURN M. HINES

Colfax -- Services for Auburn McManus Hines will be at 4 pm today in the 
chapel of Kramer of Colfax.  Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery, Verda.

Mrs. Hines, 72, of Colfax died Thursday, July 15, 1999, in her residence.

She was a native of Grant Parish and a longtime resident of Colfax.  She was 
a member of Summerfield Baptist Church and attended Louisiana Normal School 
in Natchitoches.  During World War 11 she worked at Camp Livingston and later 
with Continental Trailways.

Survivors include one daughter, Fran Demers of Colfax; one brother, Albay 
McManus of Montgomery; one sister, Verna St. Andrie of Kingwood, Texas; three 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
