HYDE March 25, 1926 Winn Parish Enterprise William H. Hyde Died in New Orleans, March 19th, William H. Hyde, age 56. He was the youngest of fourteen children born to Mr. and Mrs. Hartwell Hyde of Montgomery, La. He leaves his wife and four sons and three daughters besides other relatives. He is a brother to our fellow townsmen, N. M. Hyde, Mrs. M. M. Fisher, and Mrs. P. S. Smith, and an uncle of Mrs. A. L. McDonald, J. M. Hyde, Mrs. Mike Bozeman, and Mrs. W. C. Colvin. Mr. Hyde is quite well known here. He was a deputy sheriff at Atlanta at the time of the deplorable tragedy of Mr. Howell's Death. For some time before his death he was on the New Orleans police force. He was a jolly good natured fellow and had many friends wherever he lived. For seven months he suffered with high blood pressure and heart trouble and his sufferings were terrible. He had not lived the Christian life; he realized that God was all and in all, his pleas for prayers from his loved ones made an everlasting impression that we must live a life of peace and harmony here and not wait until the last moments of life to get ready to meet our Maker. Tho he seemed ready to go when the end came. His remains were laid to rest in Robeline Sunday evening. Those attending the funeral from here were Mrs. Mike Bozeman and children, and Mrs. M. M. Fisher. Submitted by Greggory E. Davies 120 Ted Price Lane Winnfield, LA 71483
