Mrs. Zack Ingles Dies At Her Home Here September 20


Following a long illness, Mrs. Martha Isabel Ingles passed away at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. John C. Gibson, Center Street, Tuesday, September 20.  She
was 72 years of age.  

A native of Arkansas, she had lived in Louisiana since the age of 4.  She had
been a resident of Winnfield for the past four years, where she was a member
of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church.

Final rites were conducted at the Hixson Chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the
Rev. Waynon Mott officiating.  He was assisted by Dr. W. L. Holcomb.  Burial 
followed in the Georgetown Cemetery.

Acting as pallbearers were:  E. ?. McGuffee, Elton Mixon, T. F. Roberts,
and Robert J. Smith.

Mrs. Ingles is survived by her husband, Zack Ingles, Winnfield; four
daughters, Mrs. John C. Gibson and Mrs. Eugene Autrey, Winnfield; Mrs. Bessie
Sittig, Melville, La.; Mrs. Glynn Adams, Springfield, Oregon.  She also leaves
21 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
