GEORGE W. JAMES
The Baton Rouge State Times  February 19, 1991

Died Sunday, Feb. 17, 1991, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 80, and a
native of Colfax. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II. 

Visitingat Redwood Baptist Church, Highway 412, Ethel, 2:30 p.m. Tuesday until
memorial services at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Rick Wood. 

Survived by wife, Pauline Carter James, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Joni James
Blanchard, Baton Rouge; a son, Ben Crawford James, Baton Rouge; two sisters,
Inez J. Corral, Tampa, Fla., and Myrtice J. Wilder, Port St. Joe, Fla.; a
brother, John Vernon James, Zachary; and two grandchildren, Brooke A.
Blanchard and Jinna D. James, both of Baton Rouge. 

He was a member of Painters Union Local No. 728. 

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations to a charity.

Rabenhorst Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
