He was a native of Colfax. He was an Allied Signal Baton Rouge Polyolefins Plant employee. Visiting at Scott's Bluff Morticians, 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, with family visitation at 7 p.m. Religious services at Little Zion Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Morris Jackson. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by wife, Annie Belle Jefferson; two sons, Tommy L. Jefferson, Baton Rouge, and Bobby Jefferson, Boyce; a sister, Mary Lee Wilkins, Flint, Mich.; a brother, Fillmore Jefferson, Oakdale; an aunt, Betty Harris, Colfax; nieces and nephews, including Marvin Allen, whom he reared; four grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church, vice president of the Usher Board and a member of Elks PBS Pinchback Lodge No. 377. ==========================================================================
