Fred W. Jones, age 85 of Dry Prong (La.) died 24 July 1996 in his residence.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Luteville Sand and Gravel. He was a
member of Fairfield Baptist Church. 

Survivors:  Wife, Cloteal (sic) Johnson Jones of Dry Prong.  2 daughters:
Ramona K. Jones Arrington of Dry Prong; Freddie (sic) Janice Allison of
Logansport (La).  2 brothers: Jack and Carl Jones, both of Dry Prong (La.)  2
sisters: Edna Hopkins of South Carolina  Ada Riche of Baton Rouge (La.) 
Services: Held at 2 pm. Today in the chapel of Hixson Brothers in Pineville
with Rev. Ron Nation officiating.  Burial: Under the direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville in Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery,
Fairfield Community.
