James Banks Jones

Services fro James Banks Jones were at 11 a.m. Friday in Shiloh Baptist
Church, Alexandria, with the Rev. J. L. Franklin officiating.  Burial was in
the Cruckshank Cemetery, Colfax, under the direction of Gonzaque-Purple
Shield.

Jones 74, of Sacramento, Calif., died Tuesday, Sept 15, 1998 in his residence.

HE was a U. S. Navy veteran.

Surviviors include one son, Sylvester Jones of Texas, one daughter, Beatrice
Vanzant of Sacramento Calif; two brothers, Willie O. Jones of Alexandria and
the Rev. Dave Jones of Colfax
