Dorothy J. Lyles

Services for Dorothy J. Lyles will be at 10 a.m. today in the chapel
of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev. Ellis Maxwell officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Colfax.
Mrs. Lyles, 66, of Houston, Texas, died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in
St. Luke's Hospital in Houston. She was a retired owner and operator
of a mobile home park and a member of Dry Prong Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, John D. Lyles of Houston, Texas; two
sons, Jon D. Lyles and Preston Newton Lyles, both of Houston, Texas;
five brothers, Menden Johnson of Onalaska, Texas, Huey Johnson of
Montgomery, Herschel Johnson of Colfax, Newton Johnson of Dry Prong
and Norman Johnson of Bentley; six sisters, Lucille Bimbow of Bossier
City, Almarie Whitstine and Sherry Vercher, both of Colfax, Maxine
Mitchell of Onalaska, Texas, Syble McDonald of Conroe, Texas, and
Geneva Hyde of Dry Prong; and two grandchildren.
