CLAUD H. NUGENT Claud H. Nugent, aged about 31 years, died in El Paso, Texas, at 6 P.M., Tuesday, April 10th, 1928, and the remains will probably arrive in Alexandria in time to hold the funeral on Friday. The interment will be made in the family graveyard at Liberty Chapel, near Williams, Grant Parish. The deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. Julia Nugent of Minden, La., and four brothers and four sisters, as follows: C. E. Nugent and J. M. Nugent, of Alexandria; Albert Nugent of Winnfield; Mrs. O. J. Cappel, of Long Bridge; Mrs. G. W. Murray, of Dry Prong; Mrs. W. E. Kreps, of Fort Worth; Mrs. L. A. Jones, of Minden. Claude Nugent was born in Grant parish. He lived many years in Alexandria, graduating at the Draughon Business College, and serving as bookkeeper for the Caddo-Rapides Lumber Company, the Alexandria Lumber and Supply Company and the Weis-Patterson Lumber Company. He was well known and highly thought of by all who enjoyed his acquaintance.
