Services for Luther C. "L.C." Phillips Jr. will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the
chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Revs. Elton Cahoon, Richard DeBusk
and Donnie Lodatto officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery,
Pollock.
Phillips, 58, of Pollock died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, in Rapides Regional
Medical Center.

He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, a former Mason and a
carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret V. Phillips of Pollock; one son, Rodney
Phillips of Bentley; one daughter, Teenia Green of Pollock; two sisters,
Nettie Jarrel of Tioga and Melba Buckalew of Bossier City; and eight
grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services
Monday in the funeral home.
