Her determination to acquire a college degree after she had reared her family, made her the topic of numerous magazine articles, which quoted her as saying, "I've stayed on the ranch 40 years. I figure I can take off two days a week to put part of my time in the classroom"...."My days are about past, but I'll be satisfied if I can die with a college degree." Besides her immediate family, Mrs. Pinder leaves one sister, Mrs. Josie Lee Fowler of Montgomery. Mrs. DeLea Lonadier of Wheeling is a niece, who supplied the above information, and there are a number of nieces and nephews in this area. Submitted by Greggory E.
