Polk POLLOCK -- Services for Jerry N. Polk will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hebron Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard DeBusk officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery, Dry Prong, under direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville. Polk, 69, of Pollock died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, Alexandria. He was retired fireman engineer for Southern Pacific Railroad and a U. S. Navy and Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of George M. Simmons Post No. 3, a member of the VFW No. 1736 and Abe Hinson Lodge 472 F& A M. He was a 46 year member of the American Legion. Survivors include one son, Jerry Scott of Pineville; three daughters, Lisa Scott of Manassas Va., Lolette Wood of Boyce and Lori Cunningham of Pineville; one brother, Thomas Larry Polk of Shreveport; two sisters, Claudette Jones of Dry Prong and Elsie Mae Rothenberger of Shreveport; and four grandchildren.
