Winnfield--Funeral services for William E. Puckett, 55 father of Mrs 
Jeff Barrett of Sulphur, were at 2 pm today, July 11, at Lincecum 
Baptist Church in Georgetown. 
   The Revs. W. L. Holcomb and J.B. Scott officiated. Burial was in 
Georgetown Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.
   Mr Puckett died Sunday(July 9, 1978) at his residence in Georgetown  
after a sudden illness.
   He was a native of Sikes and a retired master Sergeant of the U. S. 
Air Force. He was a veteran of WW 11 and the Korean Conflict. He was a 
member of the Disabled American Veterans, Lincecum Baptist Church 
Georgetown Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.
   Surviving in addition to his daughter is his wife, Mrs Diana Puckett.
