Richards Services for Harold R. Richards will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, near Dry Prong. Richards, 73, of Dry Prong died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at his residence. He was a retired 30-year employee with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, attached to the U.S. Navy. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was an ordained minister with the Global Church of God headquartered in San Diego, Calif.. He served the Monroe/Alexandria district. Survivors include his wife, E. Mae Richards of Dry Prong; three sons, John Alton Richards and Charles Edward Richards, both of Dry Prong, and Robert Clinton Richards of Metairie; one daughter, Anita Kathleen Richards of Dry Prong; and nine grandchildren.
