Colfax Chronicle Aug 26, 1955

james Sharbono, Montgomery, died at the Huey Long Hospital Monday, August 8.,
following a lengthy illness.  Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 9, at
the D'Artigo Church with the Rev Harry W. Tipton officiating.  Burial was in
D'Artigo cemetery.

Mr. Sharbono was 93 at the time of his death and was born and raised in Grant
Parish.  He married the former Annie Dubois, who survives him.  He is also
survived by three sons, Edmond of DeRidder, Watson, of Bentley and Wiley of
Montgomery;  two daughters, Myrtle Campbell of Montgomery and Mrs. Gilbert
hataway fo Route 1, Colfax; one sister, Mrs. Millie Dubois; 31 grandchildren
and 16 great-grandchildren.

NOTE:  Edmond Sharbino lived in DeQuincy not DeRidder
