Services for Alma Ethel Smith will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the chapel of
Hixson Bros. with the Rev. Arvie Jolly officiating. Burial will be in Wilbanks
Cemetery, Olla.

Mrs. Smith, 88, of Pollock died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, in LaSalle General
Hospital.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Vernie Norris and Joyce Leavins, both of
Olla; one son, Doyle M. Smith of Jena; three sisters, Gracie Ainsworth of
Jonesville, Oleta Ainsworth and Meddie Breithaupt, both of Jena; one brother,
Gelia Ainsworth of Olla; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four
great-great-grandchildren.
