Elbert Squyres, age 82, died 10 May 1996 in Highland Nursing Home, Ponca,
Oklahoma. He was a native of Pollock, La. and a retired carpenter. Survivors:
Daughters: Bonnie Ruth Ramsey of Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Carolyn Ann Davidson of
Greenville, Texas. Brother: Clifford Squyres of Alexandria, La. Sisters: Ruby
Cassell of Pineville, La.; Jewell Giradeau of Baytown, Texas; Pearlie Adams of
Danville, California. Services: Held at 2 pm. Tuesday in the chapel of Hixson
Brothers with Rev. George Karr officiating. Burial: Under direction of Hixson
Brother's Funeral Home of Alexandria, La. in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
