JOSIE STROUD March 29, 1962 Winn Parish Enterprise-News American Final Rites Held For Mrs. J. Stroud At Mt. Zion Mar. 24 Mrs. Josie Stroud, 79, native of Winn Parish and life-long resident of the Wheeling Community, died in Orange, Texas, at the Lutcher Ann Hospital, March 21, at 8:15 p.m. She was the wife of the late T. A. Stroud and was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 24, at 10 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Dell S. Duran, pastor, and the Rev. Elmer Pinder of Minden officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were grandsons, Cecil Ray Brown, Jearold Brown, Ronnie Cloud, Joel Wayne Stroud, and Gene Stroud. Surviving are six sons, Lonnie and Leonard Stroud of Deweyville, Texas, Earlong Stroud of Buna, Texas, T. A. Stroud of Alexandria, marcus Stroud of Montgomery, and Joel Stroud of St. Maurice; four daughters, Mrs. Quitman Smart, Buna, Texas, Mrs. Clifford Coloud and Mrs. L. J. Smart, all of Deweyville, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Anna Pinder of Montgomery; 31 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and a host of friends. Submitted By: Greggory E.
