MARY JANE THAMES

Alexandria Daily Town Talk February 1974

Mrs. Mary Jane Thames, 102, of Dry Prong died at 6 P.M. Thursday January 
31, 1974 in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. 
   
She is survived by a son, Joseph M. Thames of Dry Prong; two brothers,
Fate Bennette of Pollock and Jim Bennette of Colfax and several nieces and
nephews.
    
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 1974 in the Dry
Prong Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Smith officiating. Burial was in the
Dry Prong Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.
